Ruffing Montessori School, as a 501 (c3) organization, gratefully accepts your contributions and such gifts are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law. Gifts can be made in cash, by credit card, with gifts of stock, and we can accept certain Gifts in Kind. We are now able to take Credit Card gifts online. Call the Development Office with questions.

Gifts of Stock

Donors who wish to take advantage of the tax benefits of contributing stock should use electronic transfer from their brokerage account to Ruffing's at:

To ensure that proper donor credit is given, please notify Ruffing's Director of Development that you are making a stock transfer (216.321.7571, extension 330).

Credit Card

You can go to the secure Online Giving area of this website, you may call the school at 216.321.7571 to speak with the Development Office or you may send the information by mail. Ruffing accepts gifts by MasterCard and VISA.

Gifts in Kind

Gifts in kind are non-monetary items of tangible personal property and other physical assets that represent value to Ruffing. Examples might include books, artwork and equipment. As with gifts of money or stock, such gifts provide the donor with income tax benefits. Please contact the Director of Development at 216.321.7571 for information about making your gift.

Special Event Fundraising

There are a number of fun friendraising and fundraising events each year, while others are held on a biennial or triennial schedule. Most are organized by volunteers under the auspices of the Parent Association and all add significantly to the social interaction of the school community while adding revenue to the school for a variety of purposes.
