Bob's Upper Elementary Class - Homework Page Announcements/Reminders                Keyboarding A to Z Due 08/23/2010      All 5th and 6th graders should spend 30 minutes a night, twice a week on KAZ. By the end of the year, 5th graders should be typing at least 35 words per minute; 6th graders should be typing at least 45 words per minute. Click on Students, Student Links, Upper Elementary.                Quiz Due 09/07/2010      Study the months from Enero to Junio.           Novel                4th Year: Due 09/08/2010      Read to the end of chapter 17 in Because of Winn-Dixie. Answer the questions on the handout with complete sentences written in cursive.                6th Year Novel Due 09/08/2010      Read to the end of chapter 22 in Homecoming by Elsa Posell. Prepare two questions to ask your classmates that ask for their opinion or their interpreation of a short passage or incident in the reading. Have these questions typed up and ready to turn them in after class.                5th Year: Due 09/08/2010      Read chapters 6 through 10 of Hatchet. Answer the questions on another piece of paper with complete sentences on the computer or written in cursive.           Science                Daily Science 4,5 & 6 Due 09/10/2010      Students are able to use books, reference materials and the internet (with parental guidance) as well as prior knowledge to answer the questions. Answers can be done on the paper itself. Answers will be reviewed in class on Fridays           Spanish 4                quiz Due 09/07/2010      Study January to June.
