Toddler Community - Application Status Update
We are grateful for the strong interest in Ruffing’s Toddler Community for the 2026–2027 school year. Our priority application deadline of January 15 has now passed, and our Toddler Community is currently on a waitlist due to limited availability and a high number of applications from both current families with priority enrollment as well as new families.
While it is unlikely that we will be able to offer additional spaces for the upcoming school year, we continue to welcome applications from families who feel Ruffing may be a good fit. Submitting an application allows families to begin our admissions process and be added to our waitlist should space become available. We also keep applications on file for future openings in our early childhood programs.
Every application is carefully reviewed, and we appreciate the opportunity to learn about each family interested in Ruffing.

Admissions Checklist
Applications are considered in date order based on the date we receive them, with priority given to current families, children of alumni, and children of faculty and staff. We remain grateful for your interest and encourage families to contact the Admissions Office to learn about our process and space availability before submitting an application.

Parent Visit - tour, classroom observation, and/or attend an Open House.

Complete and submit your child’s application through Ruffing’s Admissions Portal.

Parent & Child Admissions Visit - the Admissions Office will reach out to families to schedule visits, which will take place in late January/early February. The number of visits to be scheduled will be based on space availability, which means that not all applicants will be invited for a visit.
