Summer Ruffing It! Summer Camp - Register Today
Summer Ruffing It! is a six-week day camp in which campers collaborate with skilled educators who create a joyful, high-quality experience within small, student-centered groups. Programming includes art, robotics, drama, dance, cooking, technology, and more! Educational field trips and hands-on opportunities round out the exciting events offered.
Cosmic Cuties (3 - 6 years old)
Half Day 9 AM - 12 PM, $200 per week
Full Day 9 AM - 3 PM, $400 per week

Join us for puzzles, games, stories, songs, food preparation, art projects, guest presentations and performances, weekly nature walks, gardening, and outdoor activities led by Ruffing teaching staff and assisted by Leaders-in-Training. Children must be at least three years old and fully potty trained, being able to use the restroom consistently and independently (no diapers or pull-ups). Weekly options are available.
Activities may include:

- special visitors: Bubble Lady, Realm of the Reptile, zoo animal show, fire & police
Children under 6 remain on campus for all experiences with the exception of walking to Horseshoe Lake.
Galactic Guardians (Grades 1 - 6)
9 AM - 3 PM, $400 per week
Led by professional artists, musicians, and trained educators, campers build personalized schedules based on their own unique interests.

Extreme! Extraterrestrials (Grades 7 - 8)
9 AM - 3 PM
$400 per week (Weeks 1-5), $450 (Week 6)
Week 1: Galactic Disguise Lab: Out of this World Costume Engineering
Gain skills in sewing, altering, and prop building as you design and create the perfect costume to fool the aliens.
Week 2: Mud Kitchen Construction: Building for a New Civilization
Learn to build and install a rain water capture system using basic plumbing know-how and construct functional equipment using our woodshop.
Week 3: Outer Space Fix-it Clinic
Build skills in electronics, fiber arts, woodworking, and more as we assess and troubleshoot issues, design solutions, and save well-loved objects from the landfill.
Week 4: Cosmic Cuisine: Intergalactic Food Lab
From sweet treats to savory bites, this week is a delicious adventure across the galaxy. Featured field trips and experiences may include a Cookie Decorating Class, On The Rise Artisan Breads, Dewey's Pizza, a Chocolate Factory Tour, and Ben & Jerry’s.
Week 5: Area 51: Secret Space Missions Week
Crack codes, solve mysteries, and complete high-energy scavenger hunts while uncovering hidden clues from beyond the stars. Excursions may include Escape Rooms, United Skates of America, Regal Cinemas, Shaker Rocks, and RollHouse Solon.
Week 6: Thrill Seekers of the Solar System
Campers will complete their final creative missions, give back by helping care for our camp space. End the week with an epic trip to Cedar Point—the roller coaster capital of the world! Additional adventures may include Activate Games and a scenic cruise aboard the Lady Caroline.
Registration for Summer Ruffing It! Camp will close on Monday, June 8, 2026 at midnight and no refunds will be issued after that date.
Winter and Spring Camp
Winter and Spring Camps, each two weeks long, offer students engaging and educational experiences during school breaks. Camp runs from 9 AM - 3 PM and is open to Ruffing toddlers through Middle School students. Activities include art, sports, science, outdoor play, special guests, field trips, and more!
